LINE BORING

Specialised line boring services include but are not limited to:

  • Internal bore welding and machining from 45mm – 650mm
  • External face welding and machining to 580mm
  • Machine capabilities to cut into faces to allow for seal and circlip grooves
  • Expert shrinking and fitting of bushes

CAPABILITY

We manage both on and offsite maintenance working to your maintenance plan or developing a program in tandem with your team.  

Onsite Maintenance:

  • Bucket repairs

  • Weekly bucket and shovel inspection & reporting
  • MPI & NDT inspection of all mobile components

  • Equipment includes: 2 x fully equipped boily trucks, 2 x air vantage welders, 2 x vantage welders, lancing kits

Offsite Maintenance:

  • Fully designed and drafted wear package 
  • Visuals for streamlined ordering and replacement of wear package components
  • Hard facing of specific components to increase durability and decrease weight on buckets
  • Full NDT and MPI reporting to identify crack or fatigue issues
  • Identification of potential maintenance efficiencies
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting using ITPs to support onsite scheduling requirements

  1. Removed main upper structure plates to gain access to top chord
  2. Back gouged all suspension and fatigue cracks out in the top chord and welded
  3. New designed plates installed and welded
  4. All welding blended smooth for finished surface
